Click-through/Partnership Programs

Click-throughs and partnership programs are two means to generate income from other webmasters' sites.  Think of it as having other webmasters pay you for advertising.

Click-throughs pay a specific amount for each time a surfer clicks on a banner on your site linking to the click-through site.   These amounts range from $.02 per click to $.18 per click.  There has been significant controversy over click-throughs over the past year, with charges of "shaving" clicks (not counting them all) to outright fraud.  One very major click-through player was closed by the US government.

I am not a big fan of click-throughs, but a company with a good reputation is:

Pure Hardcore--they pay $.17 per click and seem to pay on time.

Partnership programs do not care how many clicks you send--you get paid a flat amount for each sign-up.  Hits from with an avs or membership area seem to convert well, so while the number of hits will be lower, the payoff is not too bad.  This is an easy way to earn a little extra income.

Cybererotica--very well thought of, this company has two programs, Cybererotica and Club Pixx.  Their pay schedule can be frustrating, as they pay for the click based on how many sales you have, ( a conversion rate of 1 in 199 will pay $.17.5 per click, 1 in 201 $.15 per click), so it is possible to go down in pay from one day to another, but I do no count them a true click-through and rather a partnership program.  But they always pay on time and convert fairly well.

Viper Video--another well-regarded company.  They pay well and on-time.
